Blackberry Bold Review – Making the Right Choice in a Smartphone

Whether you are looking to a smartphone for business or personal use, it’s important to make certain you choose a phone that has all of the features you need and built in reliability. If you have never owned a smartphone, you may want to read some reviews before you make a choice to buy a Blackberry. For those who are new to smartphones, it’s best to go with the leader in the industry, and Blackberry was the sole provider of smartphones for many years, long before anyone other than businesses felt the need for them. Blackberry Bold is RIM’s newest addition to the Blackberry family and in keeping with the times includes many features that have never appeared on any Blackberry phone in the past. It is important to mention that most of these new features are directed more toward the personal user than the business user, so depending on your specific needs, you want to read the phone specifications before you buy a Blackberry Bold. A few of the new features on the Blackberry Bold include upgraded email capabilities because of changes in screen size and resolution that allow you to read longer emails, better support for Microsoft Office that allows you to view documents almost exactly as they appear on your desktop and the inclusion of GPS. There are many more “firsts” in the Blackberry Bold, but it’s better for you to view them for yourself based on the needs of your company or you as an individual. Though the Blackberry was one of the first smartphones for business use, it has come a long way as you can see from the Blackberry Pearl, Blackberry Curve, and now the Blackberry Bold. Although it is larger than previous models, the Blackberry Bold is still lightweight enough to carry without a problem. Though it is not available to all potential carriers yet, it should be available by the end of the year. Making the choice to upgrade to the Blackberry Bold will provide you with features you have never seen before on a Blackberry phone. Before you make up your mind about the new Blackberry Bold, you want to take time to read more than one Blackberry Bold review. This is more important if you have never used a Blackberry or are new to smartphones. If you read a Blackberry Bold review you will find out many of the great features that are part of this phone and the improvements that RIM has made over earlier Blackberry models. If you look for mobile phone deals, you will find a better price than if you go directly to the mobile phone store and buy what is there rather than wait for mobile phone deals. Although the Blackberry Bold is not yet available everywhere, you will soon see it in mobile phone stores everywhere. It’s a great phone to have if you do a lot of emailing or text message from your mobile phone since there is a full keyboard on the phone, a feature that used to be only on the Blackberry.

Blackberry Bold Review – the First in Many Categories

RIM recently announced the unveiling of a new Smartphone they have dubbed the Blackberry Bold. The Blackberry Bold includes many new features that RIM has never included on any of the current or previous Blackberry phones. The major “first” is that the Blackberry Bold is the first model to include 3G HDSPA technology. The resolution on the screen is also higher than on previous Blackberry models and with the addition of support while the user works with Microsoft office files, working with the Blackberry Bold will make it substantially easier than it was with any of the earlier Blackberry models. The screen size on the Blackberry Bold measures around 480 x 320, which makes it large enough for a user to comfortably view mobile video and long emails. This larger display area means the Blackberry Bold has to be larger than previous Blackberry phones, but in spite of the size increase, it is still lightweight with a keyboard that is easy to operate. Another first for this model is the inclusion of Blackberry 4.6, the newest version of the Blackberry operating system. It has a 624 MHz processor and in addition to being the first Blackberry with 3G HSDPA high speed networking, it also has GPS and Wi-Fi.Prior to the introduction of the Blackberry Bold, working with Microsoft Office files was rather obsolete, but new technology by RIM includes the DataViz Documents to Go. It is a more stable program that is considered a premium program among Mobile Office suite software. Documents to Go allows you to view documents and presentations almost the same as you would be able to view them on a desktop PC.  This is a definite advantage for those who do a great deal of traveling and rely on their Blackberry for communications with their office and clients. Remember, however, that you may only be able to view Microsoft documents but not edit them. Since the Blackberry Bold is not yet available in all global markets, you may need to search a little bit to find a Blackberry Bold review that will allow you enough information to make a decision about upgrading to this Blackberry model. The features are designed with both the business and personal traveler in mind, so you don’t have to worry about any loss of features with the Blackberry Bold. As the Blackberry Bold becomes more globally available, you will see a variety of mobile phone deals that will help ease the burden of purchasing the Blackberry Bold. It is certainly the wave of the future in Smartphones and the newest one from RIM. This first 3G phone from RIM provides many features that one would expect from a Blackberry that have not been previously available, and the fact that it includes so many first time features shows that RIM is looking toward a new generation of Smartphones. Read a Blackberry Bold review and you will understand why this model is destined to become more popular than any other model RIM has released.

Blackberry Bold Review – Features and Overview

RIM has recently announced the introduction of a new smartphone called the Blackberry Bold. This new offering by RIM will include many new features that have never been offered in the past on any current Blackberry phones. The Blackberry Bold is also the first Blackberry that has 3G HSDPA technology. The resolution on the screen will also be higher than on previous Blackberry models and the addition of support when working with Microsoft Office files will make working with the Blackberry Bold much easier than earlier models. The Blackberry Gold has a screen size of around 480 x 320, large enough to allow users to use mobile video and read long emails much easier. Because of the larger display area, the Blackberry Bold is somewhat larger than other recent Blackberries. In spite of the increase in size, it is rather lightweight with an easy to operate keyboard. This model is the first to include Blackberry 4.6, the newest version of the Blackberry operating system. The Blackberry Gold also includes a 624 MHz processor and is the first of RIM’s phones to support HSDPA high speed networks, GPS and Wi-Fi. Up until now Blackberry has been behind the eight-ball in working with Microsoft Office files. Instead of old technology, new RIM smartphones including the Blackberry Bold will utilize the DataViz Documents to Go, a much more stable and premium version among the Mobile Office suites. With Documents to Go you can view documents and presentations almost exactly as they would appear if you were viewing them on a desktop. This is a definite advantage for those who travel frequently and use their Blackberry to communicate with their office as well as clients. Keep in mind that in many cases you can only view Microsoft documents, you cannot change them. Since the Blackberry Bold is new to the market you will need to search a little more for a Blackberry Bold review. That doesn’t mean there are no reviews available but rather that it will take some time before you will find many reviews on this phone. As you look forward you will discover that once mobile phone deals start to become available for the Blackberry Bold, it will become more popular and Blackberry Bold reviews will become easier to locate. Blackberry has always been the most well-known among the smartphones but with so many other manufacturers developing their own smartphones, it’s essential for Blackberry to be able to stay competitive and include some features RIM has never included on the Blackberry but that other smartphones have been using since their releases. With the competition so stiff for smartphones, RIM has to enter into the 21st century with its offerings and provide users with more features if they are to remain competitive. The number of “firsts” that are on the Blackberry Bold shows they are on their way to remaining the most popular smartphone on the market in both the individual as well as business sectors.

Free Blackberry Curve 8330 Review

My current contract with my cell phone provided is almost up. And i’ve been contemplating on which smart phone I want. I currently have the LG Dare phone which i’ve had for almost 2 years now.

But if i’m like a lot of people out there, then you can understand what I mean when I say that “i’m getting pretty bored with the phone” and I think it’s time to get something new.So i’ve narrowed it down between two Smart phones with 2 carriers. One is the Blackberry Curve from Verizon Wireless and the other is another Blackberry Curve 8330 from Sprint.

If you’re in the market for a new “Blackberry Curve 8330”, here’s a review from my experience using the phone.

And if you’re looking to get a FREE Blackberry Curve 8330, there are companies that do offer the Smart phones for free. And the only networks that use the Blackberry Curve 8330 are Sprint and Verizon Wireless. You might also want to check with the authorized carrier independent cell phone dealers. They often have FREE phone promotions.

I think that the Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330 is a strong improvement over the Verizon Wireless version of the same phone. Sprint has added extra applications compared to the Verizon Blackberry Curve.

On Sprint’s Blackberry Curve, there was plenty of instant messaging options, including GTalk, as well as the Facebook app for BlackBerry. The Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330 has excellent battery life and improved scheduling capabilities. In my opinion, this is probably the best BlackBerry on the market, as well as the best smart phone offered by Sprint.Call quality on the Sprint Blackberry Curve 8330 was about the same as the Verizon Wireless version. It gets all of the great calling features, including a nice speakerphone, bluetooth for handsfree calling, conference calling and voice dialing. The Sprint BlackBerry Curve has an excellent battery life of eight hours of talk time. And it also got consistently better reception. In messaging, Sprint offers lots of useful software, with some great instant messaging from AOL, Yahoo and Google. The Sprint Blackberry Curve has a Facebook application so users can keep in touch with their online friends and update their profiles from the phone.

The calendar on the Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330 is improved over the original Curve. It looks nicer than before and with the nice color highlights that make it easier to read.

The Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330 includes an updated media menu, and an over-the-air music store. The price to download a track is $0.99, and for every track you buy you also get to download a file to your PC.The 3.5mm headphone jack and stereo Bluetooth support is great for music listening. Sprint has also included a 1GB microSD memory card. The Sprint BlackBerry Curve 8330 uses the carrier’s own Sprint Navigator for driving directions, and I think the TeleNav-based application is better than the VZ Navigator.
