Ponsel-ponsel QWERTY berharga miring dengan desain yang meniru BlackBerry umumnya datang dari China. Entah karena tak mau dianggap sebagai barang China yang sering dipersepsikan sebagai barang berkualitas rendah, ponsel QWERTY terbaru yang dirilis PT Teletama Artha Mandiri pun diberi nama dengan merek Amerika, Venera Voyager V1.

Dibandingkan dengan ponsel-ponsel QWERTY seharga, tampilannya lebih fresh dengan pilihan warna cerah, hijau menyala, abu-abu, dan merah. Fiturnya pun unik dengan sensor gerak yang akan mengubah-ubah tampilan secara otomatis dan adanya widget di layar yang biasanya hanya ditemukan di ponsel-ponsel canggih dan premium. Navigasinya juga lebih ringkas dengan thumb pad di kanan dan kiri sehingga enak dipakai dua tangan.

Bekerja sama dengan telkomsel, ponsel tersebut dirilis ke pasar dengan harga Rp 1,199 juta. Dalam paket pembelian sudah termasuk bonus SD Card 1 GB dan kartu perdana Simpati PeDe.

Ponsel tersebut boleh saja pakai merek Amerika meski sebenarnya meniru persis dengan Alcatel OT-800 Tribe buatan Perancis. Produksinya pun bukan di Eropa melainkan di pabrik China. Jadi, bisa dikatakan ini ponsel lokal buatan China jiplakan Perancis bermerek Amerika.

SPC BOSS 1000 = Beyond B71 ??

Setelah beberapa hari menghajar Beyond B71 dan SPC BOSS 1000 , akhirnya tiba saat buat CONCLUSION alias HASIL REVIEW by YUNAN :P.

PLUS dan MINUS dari posting saya adalah MURNI datang dari PENILAIAN saya sendiri.. Jadi klo anda tidak cocok dengan review saya, monggo monggo saja :)

Here we go :

1. Meski di brosur SPC meng-klaim prosesor dan RAM mereka lebih besar, tapi saya rasa Beyond juga mempunyai spek yg sama..

2. Ke-anehan yg terjadi di 2 HP ini , sama sama menyembunyikan port USB/kabel data. Sehingga jika akan memakai untuk modem/webcam/transfer data di komputer, terpaksa harus melepas penutup baterai. kemungkinan sih pas produksi penutup batrai tsb, lupa ngasih lubang buat port US tsb.Klo anda kreatif, silakan di potong aja bagian yg menutupi port.

3. Bentuk fisik SPC dan BEYOND adalah sama persis , hanya beda di TULISAN MEREK :P

4. KEYPAD , keduanya sama sama keras. Beda banget deh pokoknya sama Nokia E71 atau Nokia E63 hahaha..

5.  Bentuk fisik lagi,SPC dan BEYOND ini lebih ramping dan lebih pendek dari Nokia E71/E63. Jadi gak cocok klo mau adopsi silicon chase/kondom/jelly chase,sedikit longgar di bagian atas/bawah.

6. TIDAK MULTI TASKING , tapi bisa MINIMIZE 1 aplikasi JAVA. Jadi saat kita asyik YM an atau Facebook an pake OPERA MINI , trus ada SMS masuk/pengen buka menu2 HP, tidak usah meng-CLOSE opera mini nya (seperti di HP2 ber java lainnya) cukup di MINIMIZE. Setelah SMS di baca dan pengen lanjut YM atau FB, tinggal masuk lagi ke opera mini tadi. Jadi ga bolak balik buka tutup aplikasi java yg sedang kita pake. Ini yang saya suka, karena kita bisa ONLINE Yahoo MESSENGER 24 jam sekalipun (asal GPRS/EDGE tidak terputus).

7. WIFI mantab , OPERA MINI pun bisa kita setting untuk browsing via WIFI ga harus pake PULSA.

8. OPERA MINI adalah browser WAJIB buat HP ini (REKOMENDASI YUNAN :P) , karena WAP BROWSER nya masih juga tidak efektif meski internal memory cukup besar. Dan TERBUKTI , browsing pake OPERAMINI lebih MURAH daripada pake WAP BROWSER bawaan hp.

9. Engine JAVA mantab , speed nya kenceng. Tapi untuk game java 3D , agak sedikit lelet. Untuk game java biasa lancar jaya..

10. RINTONE sms ga bisa diganti custom , i hate this… :(

11. TV lumayan, hasil rekaman TV jelek….

12. BATERAI lumayan AWET untuk pemakaian normal.

13.  Meski MEMORY CARD berkapasitas GEDE, navigasi menu tidak jadi lelet seperti Nokia tipe lawas ;p

14. Ngetik SMS , perpindahan dari menu huruf kecil dan kapital agak ribet, ga ada shortcut nya.

15. THEMES / TEMA / THEME , hanya tersedia 3 aja. TIDAK BISA CUSTOMIZE theme sendiri, seperti HP branded lainnya :P

16. CHASING metal hanya pada penutup batere aja, lainnya dari plastik / bahan campuran.

17. CAMERA , jeleeeeeeekkkk…. ga usah di andalin untuk ini.

18. SMS bisa DELETE sesuai MARK / pilihan. Jadi bisa pilih2 mana SMS yg mau di delete atau tetep di simpen.

19. PHONE SUITE/ PC Suite bisa pakai kepunyaan NEXIAN punya. COCOK !! untuk DRIVER tetep pake punya SPC ini sendiri.

20.  KUALITAS suara MP3, standart / lumayan….
